I designed a collection of visualisations showing that the overwhelming majority of Nobel Prize laureates are wealthy, Western men. While representation is slowly improving, the disparity remains significant. The project combines more complex data visualisations with simpler charts, where I could loosen the strict, clean style and incorporate illustrations directly into the graphics. I wanted to add playfulness while keeping the data readable and engaging.
